⚠️ Important: You must be logged in to the computer with an Administrator account, and you must open the system in Chrome each time. Set Chrome as your default browser before you begin.
Set Up a Foot Pedal for Dictations
Sign in to your computer using an Administrator account.
Make sure Chrome is your default browser, then open Access Legal Case Management in Chrome.
Download the Philips Speech Control software from Google.
Search Google for Access Legal Case Management, then open the Google Web Store link.
Click Add to Chrome to install the extension.
Click the DPS icon in the top-right corner of Chrome, then select Download configuration.
Open Philips Speech Control, then go to Application control.
Click Import, then browse to the downloaded configuration file.
Double-click the item in the downloaded folder.
Select Add and overwrite, then click Apply.
Start a dictation recording to confirm your foot pedal now works for playback.
💡 Best Practices
Set Chrome as your default browser before installing the extension to avoid opening the system in a different browser.
Keep the downloaded configuration file in an easy-to-find location until you have finished importing it into Philips Speech Control.
Apply the configuration immediately after importing it so the foot pedal settings are available when you open dictations.
