We're pleased to announce the latest release of Access Legal Case Management, Version 2.16.1.1.

This is a small hotfix which addresses changes to Litigators' Graduated Fee Scheme (LGFS).

LGFS Fee Table Updates

The LGFS fee tables in Access Legal Case Management (ALCM) have been updated in line with The Criminal Legal Aid (Remuneration) (Amendment) Regulations 2026. These changes apply automatically to all cases with a Representation Order dated on or after 3 March 2026.

Cases with a Representation Order dated before 3 March 2026 are not affected and will continue to use the existing fee tables.

This is applied depending on the type of offence, case type, cut off days and the amount of PPE being claimed.

What Has Changed

1. Standardised Ratio Between Fee Types

A fixed ratio has been introduced between guilty plea, cracked trial, and trial basic fees:

Fee Type

Ratio

Guilty Plea

65

Cracked Trial

75

Trial

100

This ensures consistent proportionality across all relevant offence categories.

No Action Required

These fee table updates have been applied automatically within ALCM. No configuration changes are required by your team.

When submitting a graduated fee claim for a case with a qualifying Representation Order date, the system will automatically apply the updated fee tables.

We hope you find this release valuable, if you have any questions or feedback please do not hesitate to reach out to our teams.
