Why it's important to customise your system
Customisation allows tailoring the interface to match your firm's unique workflows, improving efficiency and user-friendliness. By streamlining data entry and placing frequently used data, actions and documents prominently, personalised screens save time and reduce the risk of errors during data input. Furthermore, they enhance organisation and ensure easily accessible relevant information.

Specific client details can be captured effectively, and data analysis becomes more meaningful with consistently recorded data. User adoption and satisfaction increase as employees embrace a system customised to their preferences.
You'll ensure compliance and data security by controlling access to sensitive information. Overall, customising your system will optimise case management processes, making Access Legal Case Management more effective in handling legal cases and client information.
What you can do to customise your system
Review the information being captured on screens to establish if there is additional data that you would like to record, which can then be incorporated into the relevant screens.
Include additional information within a case by adding new screens or fields to existing screens. This can be easily achieved using the screen designer, which is covered in the Developer training.
Users may need to add their own letters and documents to workflows, which can be accomplished through the Developer training course. This training enables users to add menus, screens, fields, and additional documents, allowing you to customise the system according to your preferences.
Within a screen, certain field types can be set to ensure data is completed correctly. Fields can be set to "view only" to prevent user amendments, "forced" to require completion before closing the screen, or "protected" to warn users against amending the field. These options help ensure the accurate completion of screens, as shown in the Developer course.
With the majority of documentation being sent via email, Access Legal Case Management enables the setup of E-Signatures for creating letters and documents. This feature allows users to add a signature to a document before sending it to the intended recipients. Additionally, Access Legal Case Management provides the capability to set up both company and individual signatures.
