Unable to check in a checked out document

If you're unable to check back in a document you have checked out or a document is stuck on checked out and you can't check it back in, please make sure to save the document you have checked out and then please follow the below steps:

Note: Only supervisors can do this task.

  1. On the top right of the Access legal case management website click on your picture/initials.

  2. Click on abort editing documents.

  3. Find the document in question and click on it.

  4. Click the abort button on the top right in red.

This will then abort the checked-out item and you will then need to check the item back out, do the updates and then check the item in.

If you're still facing issues then please raise a new case online and reference the title of this article.

Please include in the ticket the following:

  • A screenshot of the item that is stuck.

  • The matter reference.
