Create workflows in the Opportunities module

Overview

You can customise the Opportunities module by adding a dedicated Opportunities – Quotes menu in the workflow under Attendance/Telephone Note. This allows users to access specific opportunity/quote templates directly from the workflow.

⚠️ Permissions
You must have the appropriate security profile and permissions to amend screens, workflow, and workflow rules. If you do not see the options below, contact your system administrator.


Add the Opportunities – Quotes Menu

  1. Open the Workflow screen for the relevant area.

  2. Click Edit Workflow.

  3. In the workflow tree, find Attendance/Telephone Note.

  4. Next to Attendance/Telephone Note, click the arrow to expand it.

  5. Click the folder icon to add a new menu item.

  6. In the Description field, enter:

    • Opportunities-Quotes

  7. In the Menu name field, enter:

    • OPPORTUNITIES_QUOTES.MNU

  8. Click Save.

The Opportunities – Quotes menu is now created under Attendance/Telephone Note.


Add Templates to the Opportunities – Quotes Menu

  1. In the Workflow screen, next to Opportunities-Quotes, click the arrow to expand it.

  2. Click the yellow icon to add a new template entry.

  3. Enter the template name you want to appear in the menu.

  4. Click Save.

  5. Repeat steps 2–4 for each additional template you want to add under Opportunities-Quotes.

Your templates will now be available from the Opportunities – Quotes menu within the workflow, ready for users to run as part of their Opportunities process.
